I would like to compliment Hassan & Sons Exchange, located at Level 2, Ang Mo Kio Hub for their honesty and professionalism. We have exchanged some Malaysian ringgit into SG dollars on 20 June, Friday. When we came back home, we then realised that we are short $200 after counting again. The next day, we went back and inform them of the short change. Mr Ali, who is an employee of Hassan & Sons, was very helpful and friendly. They should update their opening hours. I understand that they went for Friday prayers but the public doesn't know that until they arrived and saw the notice. Best part, they only open after 1.50pm.
Stay away, use a different exchange service! Hassan advertises giving the best exchange rate in AMK when in fact he offers the worst. He sold me turkish lira at 0.04878 and the other place just outside the hub was selling lira at 0.039. I realized too late. When asking Hassan why he says best rate when in fact the worst, he was just rude!!!
