Came to Wisma Atria as I saw the exchange rates were one of the higher sides at the moment. The exchange process was confusing and lacked transparency. The board displayed ¥114.0/SGD$1, but the staff initially showed me a calculator reflecting ¥114.7. After I handed over SGD$500, he then stated the rate was ¥114.6. Ultimately, he said he would use the board rate of ¥114.0, citing a lack of small change to return. I ended up not exchanging as other money exchange rates slightly further away had
Rates dont match with what they posted online. Asked for higher rates cuz i was changing quite alot. Gave him $800 but he said i only gave $750. Definitely a scam but too bad no proof to catch him.
Rates online don't match the rates in person. Certain rates are also much lower than average. Would recommend finding another money change if you have the time to spare.
